Damansara Heights, Uptown and TTDI — the western suburbs, and the shortest run to the northern expressways.

Damansara
Damansara is not one place. It covers Damansara Heights near the city, Damansara Utama and Uptown in Petaling Jaya, and Taman Tun Dr Ismail on the western edge — and visitors stay across all three, usually because they are working here or visiting family.
For a driver this is the most convenient corner of the Klang Valley. The NKVE, Sprint, Penchala Link and LDP all converge here. Penang is a straight run north with no city traffic at all. Genting is under an hour. And the airport is forty minutes on the ELITE highway without touching Kuala Lumpur proper.
It is also where parking stops being a problem. If you are renting something wide or low and the thought of a KLCC basement ramp worries you, taking delivery in Damansara instead is the simple fix.
Suburban and generous. Most Damansara hotels and malls have free or cheap covered parking, which matters for a car with a low front lip.
